Hand Picked By God

Struggle: “To make forceful or violent efforts to get free of restraint or resist attack.”

As we cruise into a new year and we work hard to manifest our resolutions, I personally believe it is important for us to consider the definition above. STRUGGLE! I’m sure its something we can all relate to. I mean who doesn’t go through life and face certain challenges? My real question to all my readers is how do we deal with it?

I was talking to my older sister today and we had an interesting conversation about some of the things we have been going through. To sum up a really long conversation, LIFE HAPPENS AND IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE its how you go about it that separates you from the rest of the pact. I have a saying that I always use to help me cope with my struggles.

“We travel through the same pain, but we all have different struggles.”

What do I mean by that? Let me break down my thought process. I am the type of friend that everyone comes to when they are seeking advice, right? So what I learned through my own personal journey, and being trusted by others with their vulnerable truths is that life has a funny way of teaching us VALUABLE LESSONS. My mom use to always tell me after I spiraled out of control as an adolescent that I was going to learn my lesson one way or another.

I was being too hard headed to see the fault in my actions and if I don’t learn these lesson at home the world will have its way with me until I fix my vision. Not to say that everyone who goes through something like STRUGGLE deserves to be put in that situation, but rather that there are certain lessons in life that we must learn in order to grow.

I truly believe that is how God and the world works. Through collateral beauty. Sometimes things have to fall apart so they can come together in the end. Logically we don’t always understand the pain that comes behind struggle. But if it wasn’t for that pain tied to the struggle, then God’s blessings wouldn’t be as special.

For example, I dare you to go out into the world and and just listen. I bet you $100 you will find someone out there complaining about how life isn’t fair or they are always the one to point the finger like God didn’t intend for you to go through that, and it happened by mistake or something. There are lessons to be learned within the struggle.

I had to learn how to reflect over my situations no matter how bad the suffering. For my Christian believers, did Jesus not show us the beauty behind the struggle when he died on the cross? He encountered every kind of pain there was on this earth when he CARRIED HIS OWN CROSS while no one was able to step in and help him carry the load.

“The PROCESS Brings So Much Stress, But the PROGRESS Is What Feels The Best.” – Lil Wayne (Tie My Hands)

I believe that his how we should walk in our journey of life. I do believe that THE FIRE OF SUFFERING IS THE LIGHT OF CONSCIOUSNESS. It is through the dark times that we learn to love the light. Everything on this earth can be put on spectrum. Good & Bad , Night and Day, Love and Hate, even Heaven and Hell. We have to learn how to see the beauty in the struggle, in the midst of the suffering. On the other end of that, is how we will be able to see with new sight.

I personally believe that God is the oneness of life that exists in all living things. Everything has a little piece of God within it otherwise it would not have life. The trees, the water, the rocks and the animals ALL THINGS that make up this great world. But YOU share with God in his divinity.

The fact that you are living with the ABILITY TO CREATE a life of your own should be the biggest blessing that never gets taken advantage of! GOD HAND PICK YOU TO HAVE CONTROL OVER YOUR LIFE. He shared with you his divine spirit so he can express a version of himself through you.

But like I said before, everything operates on a spectrum. Once you understand this, it can be easy to fall into the trap of selfishness. Living a life that is inconsiderate to other players in the game. The question that gets asked often times is “what type of change do YOU WANT TO BRING, while it should be, how can I fulfill the work that God has for me?

See we are not Gods but we are Godly beings. Because he lives through us, WE SHARE WITH HIM divine knowledge and understanding. I’ve talked about purpose in my previous posts, but to take it to a deeper level for some.. We are all given gifts that can help or hurt the world through our IMPACT we have on other players.

The journey to find this purpose is long and hard. Sometimes we have to be broken down to our bare bone and lose all that we thought we had to understand what God needs for us to understand, or as my mom would say, you gotta learn your lesson. We are powerful creatures and with that power comes great responsibility. Taken lightly, and we could cause so much damage no only to ourselves, but the lives around us.

I’m sure you know what it’s like to be around someone who is always negative in their word selection. How does that affect you? See what I’m saying. Going back to the story of Jesus.. He died so that we can be here and operate in our own free will. That in and of itself is POWERFUL. So the question then becomes, how do we know if we are moving according to our purpose?

“There Is BEAUTY IN THE STRUGGLE When You Growing Inside.” – J. Cole (Love Yourz)

Struggle has a funny way of warping our reality. When we take it personal, we often close off the chance of something great coming from it. We resist our resilience and we stray further away from the purpose God has for us. But like I said before, we all travel through the same pain, but we all have different journeys. Sometimes we have to keep getting reminded of the same lessons over and over until we learn our lesson AND imbed it into our mindset.

Prayer has been around for many years, but why do you think that is? Remember when I said you have dominion over the earth through the POWER OF CHOICE? Well, when he created the earth as our cradle for us to learn and grow, he hoped (much like our parents do) that we will see how he sees and move according to his will. How can we do that if we don’t build the foundation with him? Continue to learn from his higher knowledge?

Through prayer and patience, he allows us to tap into that divinity so that we can SHARE with him this life experience. That is what I feel like God wants from us. To have a connection with him, to share with him all the great wonders of this world. When we do that, he will honor our will and life becomes a continuous learning school, so that when we leave our souls will join the wholeness of GOD above through DIVINE RIGHT.

So I challenge you the next time God sends you a certain STRUGGLE, ask yourself, “God what is it that you would like for me to understand in the midst of this madness?” Only then will you see with new sight and move with divine right. You will be surprised what lesson may be in store for you. That is because it takes the situation away from being a personal hit on your EGO to being a catalyst for your growth.

Challenge the status quo. To struggle is to be blessed on the opposite end of the spectrum. Heaven and Hell is not a place you go, but a place in which your mind is stored daily, so why not choose to have Heaven on Earth? But hey, don’t let me take away what God himself gave to you. You have the right to choose your own life path!
